The Waikato Food Inc team believe in these unpredictable times we still need to celebrate!  We are determined not to let the latest round of level changes and lockdown put us off celebrating our region or enjoying a fabulous night of food created by talented local chefs even if this isn’t as we initially planned.

Introducing Celebrate Waikato – At Home

Saturday 30th October around the Waikato.  Enjoy a fabulous five course dinner created by five wonderful local eateries at yours.  We’ve done all the hard work and will deliver you the components to put together a delicious meal at yours.  Each course comes with easy-to-follow cooking and or assembly instructions.  We’ve even organised videos you can watch to see the chef putting their dish together – think of it as your own personal tutorial.

Then it’s up to you, you can enjoy the night in your bubble or invite friends around and make it a party.

And if it’s a party you are after join in the Celebrate Waikato Zoom Dinner Party for some real fun!  Camille and Stu from The Breeze Waikato will be hosting, we’ll have guest appearances, zoom into some of the chefs’ kitchens to get some tips and tricks and generally enjoy a night in 2021 style!

The Line Up

Starter – created by the Kings of charcutier and our resident party animals, Mr Pickles

Entrée – crafted by one of Waikato’s most awarded chefs Mat McLean from Palate

Entrée – our second entrée from our second Matt whose bringing the heat from Furnace Steakhouse.

Main – devised by Andrew Clarke, now Executive chef at Kerr & Ladbrook and Greenlea Beef Ambassador

Dessert – the sweet tooth fairy, Ashleigh Brodie from Hayes Common is baking up a treat to end the night

The Nitty Gritty

Each ticket is for two people/serves.  For instance if there are 4 of you, you need to buy 2 tickets, if there are 6 of you, you need 3 tickets and so on.  Sorry no 1pax or half tickets available.
We apologise but no dietary requests can be accommodated.
The price includes delivery to the following areas (Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Raglan, Morrinsville, Matamata).  If you are outside these areas please let us know and we will see if we can arrange a drop off point.

Your box will be delivered to the address you give when purchasing your ticket between 10am and 2pm on Saturday the 30th October.

You will be given written instructions by email and within your box on how to put each dish together as well as links to videos of the chefs putting their dishes together.

You will also be invited (by email) to join our Zoom party hosted by Camille and Stu from the Breeze.
