On Saturday the 2nd October craft brewers, award-winning cheese makers and artisan fermented good makers from the Waikato region, gather together and transform SkyCity Hamilton’s atrium into Ferment Fest.

In its fourth year, Ferment Fest is a foodie’s dream and a celebration of local, artisan products and their makers, who use fermentation in their product development process.

This year, several passionate Waikato producers will attend Ferment Fest. With them will be a range of full flavoured cheeses, craft beers, butters, chocolate, yoghurt, bread and kombucha, meaning that there really is something for everyone!

Ferment Fest will be set up like a farmer’s market, so that you can wander through, meet the makers, learn how the goods are made and taste delicious samples, all while having the opportunity to purchase your favourite products.

Entry is free and throughout the day there will be live music, fermentation explanations and demonstrations, so this is definitely an event not to be missed!
