After a very public life in the food media, Allyson, who loves the peacefulness and anonymity of Cambridge, will join Vicki for this special lunch. Before lunch though, Allyson who loves slow cooking (both her slow-cooking-based cookbooks were best sellers) will impart her wealth of knowledge about the art of slow cooking – cuts of meat best used, cooking with pulses for inspiring vegetarian meals, best spice mixes to use and tempt us with dessert ideas too.
